Warranty Terms and Returns conditions

Synergy Automotive Electronics Ltd offer the following warranty terms and conditions:

FAULTY ON FIT

All our products carry a 28-day replacement service.  For the remaining 11 months of product warranty, we operate an exchange system on a one-for-one basis, unless otherwise stated. In all cases, the warranty period starts from the date of our invoice and ends twelve months thereafter.  Unless agreed prior to the sale, we do not offer any form of extended warranty and will not accept claims for products that fall outside of their warranty period. Our warranty covers the product only and Synergy Automotive Electronics Ltd cannot accept:

- Claims for labour

- Claims for parts other than those supplied by us

- Claims made for the installation or de-installation of equipment

MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM

For products failing within 28 days of supply, a replacement will be sent and invoiced in full. Faulty units must then be returned within 14 days.

For warranty claims outside of 28 days, faulty units must be returned for repair/replacement.  An advance replacement may be sent and will be invoiced but no credit will be given unless it proves to be a non-repairable manufacturers’ fault.

In order to make a warranty claim, please contact us on 01249 401000 and inform us you wish to make a return. Please give as much information as possible about the faulty unit to allow our technical team to ascertain whether the unit needs replacing. We can no longer accept returns without a returns form (downloadable from our website or available on request).

The following information will also help us speed up your claim:

- Account number (if applicable)

- Original invoice number

- Date of purchase

PRODUCT CONDITION

The product must be returned in the original packaging in an undamaged condition (unless prior arrangements have been made).  If a product is damaged physically in any way it is important to inform us in advance so that we can be sure the damage did not occur during transit.  If you do not have the original packaging, other secure packing should be used.  Please refrain from writing on the original product packaging - attach labels or post-it notes where required as an acceptable alternative.

PRODUCT ACCESSORIES

Product accessories include items such as remote controls, signal and power leads.  Warranty claims made on such items will be agreed at the discretion of our engineer.  Any accessories that have been damaged during installation or use will not be covered under the warranty agreement. In all instances of claims for accessories, the engineer’s decision is final.

DISPUTES AND CLAIM ISSUES

Wherever there may be a dispute concerning a warranty claim, we will aim to resolve the issue quickly in a mutually beneficial way.  In the instance of a failed or unjustified warranty claim, we reserve the right to charge the customer any costs incurred.

THE MANUFACTURER’S DECISION ON ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS IS FINAL

In cases of dispute, the item will be returned at your expense for the manufacturer’s decision.  If the manufacturer concedes a manufacturing fault, this cost will be refunded. In cases of dispute we will undertake to arbitrate between the customer and the manufacturer, but in all cases the manufacturer’s decision will be taken as final and the goods returned to the customer.
